Project EVE (Edge Virtualization Engine) aims to develop an open, agnostic and standardized architecture unifying the approach to developing and orchestrating cloud-native applications across the enterprise on-premises edge. It offers users new levels of control through virtualization of on-prem edge devices. Because Since EVE is specifically designed to run on edge equipment outside the datacenter, it is architected to securely isolate functions in the virtualization layer to prevent a single functional block from compromising the entire system.
